  • Water pump / impeller failure — the #1 spring-startup issue across all outboard brands. A dry or cracked impeller will overheat the powerhead in minutes.
  • Carburetor cleaning on portable and legacy motors — ethanol fuel and winter storage cause varnish and gum buildup. Rough idle, hard starting, stalling at low RPM.
  • Charging system failures — stator and regulator are common electrical issues on midrange MFS and older M-series motors.
  • EFI fuel pump failures — common on MFS midrange and larger 4-strokes. Symptoms: no-start, stall under load.
  • Oil injection service (2-stroke) — oil pump calibration, oil line inspection, premix bypass diagnostics on older 2-stroke Tohatsus.
  • Thermostat and cooling — overheating warnings, stuck-closed thermostat, salt or sediment buildup.
  • Trim and tilt hydraulic failures — slow actuation, no actuation, or hydraulic leaks. Almost always fixable on-site.
  • Lower unit oil change — routine but critical. We do them on-site at your driveway or storage.
